Nicola began studying voice acting at Voice One in San Francisco and has continued training at numerous studios including ones in Los Angeles, Atlanta and New York City.

She has been fortunate to train with the following coaches:

Nicola received her Bachelors degree from Skidmore College with a double major in Theater and Psychology, graduating with honors.
